Flowers Die First is a short film I had the privilege of working on in January 2023 as a set fabricator. I was responsible for assembling and managing a team to build the set photographed below. Flowers Die First needed a piece to resemble a 1940’s orange packing assembly line. We built 8 of the stands, built the center crate, and then painted, stained, and aged each set piece. I also painted and stained each crate for the oranges to be “packaged” inside.
